James Bernard Fassnacht, born July 23, 1918 in Ephrata, Pa. and died on December 25, 1947 of cancer. He is buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Ephrata, Pa. Attended Ephrata High School and worked at Lukens Steel Mill in Coatsville, Pa. and Gate's Candy Plant in Greenhills, Pa. Married Elsie Imhoff in 1937 in New Holland, Pa. Elsie was born January 27, 1917 in Shaefferstown, Pa. and graduated from Ephrata H.S. in 1935. She attended Reading Hospital School of Nursing. Elsie died January 14, 1986 and is buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Ephrata, Pa.

Graduated from Penn State University and retired as a Quality Control Engineer for Rockwell International. Married Constance B. McDonald June 25, 1966 in Elkton, Md. Constance was born May 18, 1938 in Pottsville, Pa. They enjoy travel, golf, hunting, sailing and photography.

_1. Patrick Lee Fassnacht, born May 2, 1970 in Reading, Pa. Lives in Batesville, Mississippi.  Pat is a 1993 Industrial Arts graduate from Millersville University and works as a Quality Manager.  Married Molli, who has three children - Ethan Gatlin, Annabelle, and Abbie.

_2. James Bernard Fassnacht, born July 6, 1971 in Reading, Pa. James is a 1993 Criminal Justice graduate from Shippensburg University and is a Pennsylvania State Trooper at Ephrata Station.  He married C. Noelle Stewart on Oct 30, 1999.  They reside in Denver, PA.

_2. Yvonne Jean Fassnacht Krauss, born September 15, 1939 in New Holland, Pa. Lives at 855 N. Park Rd., AA101, Wyomissing, PA 19610 (215) 373-3867. Graduated from Ephrata H.S. in 1957 and attended Hospital of University of Pennsylvania. Worked in operating room at St. Joseph's Hospital for one year before marriage. Married August Krauss on July 22, 1960 in Chester, Pa. August was born July 29, 1935 in Reading, Pa. He completed Central Catholic H.S. They attend St. Joseph's Catholic Church and enjoy camping, travel, hiking, etc. Yvonne also does crocheting.  Both are retired.

_1. Kenneth Robert Krauss, born December 30, 1961 in Reading, Pa. Lives at 1526 Fairview St., Reading, PA 19605. Kenneth is married to Melissa Mulholland.  Ken attended Penn State University, and works as a Plant Manager Vice President.

_2. Michael Scott Krauss, born January 23, 1964 in Reading, Pa. Lives at 601 Napa Valley Drive, Little Rock, AR 72211. Married Amy Baker of Moriah, N.Y. on November 23, 1985.  Michael retired as a Captain in the Air Force in 2006.  He graduated from Florida State University.
