Married Edgar Thomas Mathiot on October 22, 1929 in Columbia, Pa. Edgar was born in Columbia, Pa. Irene died of cancer on July 7, 1940 and is buried in Mohlers Cemetary, Ephrata, Pa. Edgar died September 20, 1989 and is buried in Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster, Pa.
